Shared Hosting
Linux (L.A.M.P.) based Shared Hosting (See Web Hosting Plans) services which feature the following software technologies: cPanel/WHM, Cloud Linux, Softwaculous, SpamAssasin, Clam antivirus. All Shared Hosting account holders have access to a global CDN with 13 core points of pretense and 23 other strategically placed caching peer locations in North America, Europe and Asia.
Virtual Private Servers
Host Color Europe offers VPS Hosting services (See Virtual Private Servers) based on OpenVZ, XE and KVM virtualization technologies. The VPS are hosted on a fully redundant, powerful server systems. The entry level virtual server - VPS Start - features with 512 MB and can be scaled up! cPanel/WHM VPS licenses are available at low prices.
Dedicated Hosting
You will like our high quality, inexpensive Dedicated Hosting solutions. We customize dedicated hosting for you and provide all Linux based software applications you might need to use on your dedicated server. All dedicated servers feature Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI), so our customers could easy administrate them. If any machine doesn't feature IPMI, Host Color Europe provides KVM access to the customer.
Infrastructure & Facilities
Main Data Center
Host Color Europe (HCE) operates from a Tier 4 facility based out of Sofia, Bulgaria. The data center is designed to host mission critical IT systems.
The data center has a scalable power infrastructure with the highest possible level of reliability, N+1 redundancy for every power system element, delivering the highest power quality and uptime to our customers.
The data center is equipped with uninterruptible UPS that prevent power spikes, surges, and brownouts while redundant backup diesel generator group provides additional fuel to keep the data center powered up in the event of public utility failure. The entire electrical system has built-in redundancy to ensure continuous operation. Four independent electrical feeds @10kVA, to two different 110kVA grid sub-stations, are powering a transformer station with two redundant transformers. The facility operates a redundant (N+1) HVAC system and provides stable air flow, temperature and humidity essential for equipment operation.
The other Tier 4 standards that apply are:
- All routers, switches and servers are served by multiple independent distribution paths
- The IT equipment is dual-powered
- The whole infrastructure is concurrently maintainable, which guarantees 99.982% availability
- All cooling equipment is independently dual-powered, including chillers and heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems
- Fault-tolerant site infrastructure with electrical power storage and distribution facilities guaranteeing 99.995% availability
The network that HCE has in the facility is also fully redundant and features uplinks to Cogent, Spnet and B-IX.net. Host Color Europe is also connected to Amsterdam Internet Exchange, DE-SIX (Frankfurt Internet Exchange), Polish Internet Exchange (PLIX) and a few more smaller European Internet exchange points through B-IX, providing our customers with best possible connectivity to the whole Europe (Easter Europe in particular), Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and Middle East.
All European Shared Hosting plans, Reseller Accounts and Virtual private servers are hosted in the this data center (see pictures below) unless other specified. Our Dedicated server customers can choose between the Sofia data center and facilities based in Lisbon, Portugal and Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
